Court Convicts Nana Agradaa for Defrauding Victims Through False Advertising
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Chief priestess turned evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been convicted by the Circuit Court in Accra for engaging in charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence.

The charges stem from a televised advertisement she aired in 2022, in which she claimed to possess the power to double money for members of the public—a claim that led several individuals to part with significant sums of money.

Details on sentencing and further court directives are expected to follow.

However, in line with sentencing guidelines, Nana Agradaa has been taken to the hospital for a pregnancy test before the Judge will sentence her.
