The Ghanaian students who fled the war torn Ukraine say they are frustrated by government’s lackadaisical attitude in placing them in new schools despite numerous assurances and promises.
Leadership of the students say despite the many assurances, nothing concrete has been done so far.
The government of Ghana evacuated over one thousand students who were in various universities in Ukraine at the peak of the war, although others refused to return to Ghana.
In Authority of this Bohyeba Afriyie of Plan B FM interviewed Mr Philip Bobbie president for National Union Of Ghanaian students Ukraine on Ebanoosen and he revealed that he thinks coming to Ghana was the best decision they took because as at the time they were in Ukraine the kind of weapons they saw with their eyes could have affected them mentally but their only problem is How the Ghana Government Has neglected them After all the promise to enroll them in some Ghanaian institutions to finish their Academic calendar.
He said those who were evacuated to Ghana are agitated because they speak with some of their colleagues who emigrated to other European neighboring Countries and they inform them about how well they are being taken care of and some are even continuing their Academic calendar.
He concluded that in attempt to find solutions to their problems they have petitioned the office of the president and some private institutions and have given themselves three weeks if it doesn’t work they execute their plan B.
