“How Can Ghana Shine with the ‘Black Star’?” – Prophet Asante.

“How Can Ghana Shine with the ‘Black Star’?” – Prophet Asante.

Head Pastor of Rema Prayer Ministry, has made an urgent call for a change in the ‘Black Star’ symbol, arguing that it impedes the nation’s progress.

During an appearance on Plan B FM’s Nyansapɔ Fie with hostess Nana Asabea, Prophet Asante drew parallels with the three wise men who were led by a star – a shining one – to Jesus’ manger. He queried why Ghana alone would adopt a black star, which does not exist as a celestial phenomenon.

“While the intention behind the black star is commendable, realising it will be extremely challenging,” he stated. “Therefore, it is necessary to alter it to a different colour to bring Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s vision to fruition. It is not beneficial; we could consider changing it to a white colour.”
