Christian Tetteh demands urgent repairs to faulty traffic lights, warns of potential accidents

Christian Tetteh demands urgent repairs to faulty traffic lights, warns of potential accidents
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Team in the Tema West Constituency Christian Tetteh, has expressed concern over the growing number of malfunctioning traffic lights in parts of the country, warning that authorities must act swiftly to prevent avoidable accidents.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Ebaanosen show, hosted by Ohene Kennah, Mr. Tetteh urged Hon. Lawyer James Ano to facilitate the immediate repair of faulty traffic lights in areas such as Sakumono Village, Nungua, and Tema.

According to him, it is important for the relevant authorities to address the issue proactively rather than waiting for a tragic incident to occur before taking action. He stressed that ensuring the proper functioning of traffic lights is essential for road safety and the protection of lives and property.

Mr. Tetteh also called on newly elected branch executives to discharge their responsibilities with commitment, integrity, enthusiasm, and dedication in service to both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the nation.

Touching on employment concerns, he appealed to the government to consider alternative job opportunities for workers currently employed in the towboat sector should there be any decision to discontinue its operations. He emphasized that a responsible government must always put measures in place to safeguard the livelihoods of affected workers and their families.
