A disturbing incident in Agona Bobikuma, Central Region, has left a man hospitalized after reportedly being attacked by his 30-year-old son-in-law, Kwabina Kwakwa, with a cutlass.

The attack is believed to have stemmed from a marital dispute that led to Kwakwa’s marriage breakup.

The victim remains in critical condition and is receiving medical care, while the suspect has fled and police are actively searching for him.

Eyewitnesses told said that the altercation escalated following misunderstandings between Kwakwa and his wife, which drew in her father.

The attack inflicted severe injuries, shocking residents and disrupting peace in the community.
