Bawumia must be held accountable for the economic mess – Alan Kyerematen

Bawumia must be held accountable for the economic mess – Alan Kyerematen
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen, has told Ghana’s Vice President and Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to account to the people of Ghana over the economic challenges the country is facing.

According to him, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been Vice President for eight years and can’t exonerate himself for the mess the country has been plunged into.

“The Vice President needs to be accountable for the economic challenges facing Ghana,” he said.

However, speaking at the unveiling of Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice President acknowledged that Ghana has challenges that needs to be surmounted.

He indicated that notwithstanding, the New Patriotic Party government of which he head the economic management team has managed the country’s economy better than the erstwhile Mahama administration.

He said if he is voted to power, he will work with his Vice Presidential candidate to ensure that their bold solutions change the fortunes of the country.
