The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has announced plans to complete several major development projects across the region following a review of the 2024 audit on Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).

According to Dr. Amoakohene, the projects include the completion of 86 CHPS compounds, several school blocks, a 24-hour economy model market, and all hospitals under the government’s Agenda 111 initiative.

He emphasized that these projects form part of the government’s broader agenda to improve healthcare delivery, education, and economic growth within the Ashanti Region.

The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Maame Pokuah Sawyer, commended Dr. Amoakohene for his dedication and commitment to advancing development in the region.
