Armed men set cargo truck ablaze in Walewale

A group of unidentified armed men reportedly set a cargo truck on fire in Walewale on Tuesday, January 13, 2025.

Sika Official shared the information on X, stating that the attackers set both the vehicle and its contents ablaze.

“A group of unidentified armed men reportedly launched an attack on a cargo truck in Walewale, setting the vehicle and its contents on fire.

However, local residents rushed to the scene and were able to douse the flames, preventing the complete incineration of the truck’s load. Police authorities are also expected to commence a full-scale investigation into the attack following their arrival at the scene”, the post read.
