Anti-LGBTQI+: Protect the integrity of our culture and family values – NDC’s Mello to Akufo-Addo

Akufo-Addo pardons former deputy National Security Coordinator implicated in NCA Scandal

A Communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kpone-katamanso Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Francis Kwasi Badu Mello is urging President Akufo-Addo to protect the integrity of Ghana’s culture and family values.

The Supreme court deferred its ruling on injunction applications filed by Dr. Amanda Odoi and Richard Sky, which sought to block the bill’s transmission.

Kwasi Badu stated that, the integrity of Ghana’s culture and its family values must be protected and preserved by Akufo-Addo.

In a panel discussion on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Wednesday, October 9 2024, Mello noted that there is no other bill important than the Anti-LGBTQI+ bill but the president has failed to append his signature.

“We want the integrity of our culture, family values and beliefs to be protected and preserved” he noted.

President Akufo-Addo should try as much as possible to sign the Anti-LGBTQI+ bill before he becomes a former president so that Ghanaians would have something good to say about him.
