A Unit Committee Chairman for the area, Mr Agyenim Boateng Solomon, told Accra based Class FM that the woman had gone for a funeral in the community and decided to sleep over at her boyfriend’s room on Sunday, June 26, 2022.

She was, however, found dead in the man’s bed the next day.

The boyfriend, who has been identified as one Akwasi, popularly known as “Akwesman”, reported the case to the police at Manso Adubia.

He was then arrested by the police.

The body of the deceased has been conveyed to the St. Martin’s Hospital morgue at Agroyesum for preservation while the suspect is currently in police custody.

The Manso Adubia police have commenced investigations into the incident.
