The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has appointed Mr. Julius Kwame Anthony as a Deputy Communications Director of the party, with immediate effect.
The appointment was approved by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) at a meeting held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, according to a press release issued by the NDC National Secretariat.
The party said Mr. Anthony brings to the position a sound understanding of communication and its strategic application in advancing the NDC’s objectives.
His appointment is expected to strengthen the party’s communication capacity, deepen public understanding of its policy direction and sustain the gains being made under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, particularly within the framework of the Reset Agenda.
The NDC expressed confidence that Mr. Anthony would bring dedication, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility to the role while working closely with the Communications Directorate and other relevant party structures.
The party has urged media organisations and other stakeholders to take note of the appointment and accord Mr. Anthony the necessary recognition in the discharge of his official duties.
The statement further indicated that Mr. Anthony, Godwin Ako Gunn and Kakra Essamuah are the designated voices of the NDC and contact persons for matters concerning the party.
The release was signed by the NDC National Chairman, Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
