The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appealed to the public for information on the relatives of a Ghanaian national who has died in Berlin, Germany.
In a public announcement dated September 11, 2026, the Ministry identified the deceased as Stephen Kofi Boamah, born on February 8, 1986, in Kumasi, Ghana.
According to the Ministry, Mr. Boamah’s lifeless body was found in an apartment in Berlin.
The deceased was reportedly known within the Ghanaian community in Berlin by the nickname “Gully.”
The Ministry is appealing to anyone who has information about Mr. Boamah or his relatives in Ghana to come forward to assist in locating his family.
It said the information will enable the Ministry to notify the deceased’s relatives and facilitate the necessary arrangements concerning his remains.
