Shatta Wale’s management has announced the cancellation of Shattafest UK following reports of a serious incident outside the event venue.

In an official statement, the organisers said the decision was taken with the safety and well-being of patrons as the top priority. They expressed deep sadness over reports of injuries and the alleged loss of lives, while noting that they are awaiting official confirmation from the relevant authorities.

“Our hearts are with everyone who has been affected by this tragic situation,” the statement said, adding that thoughts and prayers remain with the victims, their families and all those impacted.

The management urged the public and the media to avoid speculation while investigations are ongoing, stressing the need to rely on verified information as authorities establish the facts.

They also thanked emergency services, security personnel, medical teams, venue staff and all those who responded swiftly to the incident.

Shatta Wale’s team reaffirmed its commitment to cooperating fully with the relevant authorities and event partners to determine exactly what happened.

The statement concluded by asking supporters to keep the victims and their loved ones in their prayers, saying the focus is no longer on the concert but on those whose lives have been affected.
