Football fans converged at Passions Night Bar and Restaurant in Tema Community 6 on Friday for a lively FIFA World Cup watch party organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority (Tema) in partnership with Passions Night Club, and supported by Plan B FM.
The event attracted a large crowd of supporters who gathered to watch Ghana’s Black Stars take on Croatia in their final Group L match. From kickoff to the final whistle, the atmosphere was filled with energy, chants, and passionate support for the national team.
Despite Ghana’s narrow 2-1 defeat, the mood remained upbeat as fans embraced the shared experience of World Cup football. The screening also featured engaging fan interactions, predictions, and giveaways, adding to the excitement of the night.
Organisers described the event as part of efforts to promote sports tourism and community engagement through football, bringing fans together in a vibrant social setting.
With Ghana already securing qualification to the Round of 32, attention now turns to the knockout stage as the Black Stars prepare for a highly anticipated clash against Colombia.
