The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged the public to disregard reports suggesting that a government reshuffle is imminent, describing such claims as misinformation.

In a press statement issued on June 6, 2026, the party’s National Communication Bureau cautioned against the spread of unverified information, stating that some individuals are deliberately attempting to create confusion and “poison the atmosphere.”

The statement emphasized that the official spokesperson for the administration is Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu and advised the public to verify any information regarding a possible reshuffle through his official communication channels before sharing it.

The NDC also reminded the public of the implications of the Cyber Security Act, urging citizens to be responsible in their communication and avoid circulating false information.

The statement was signed by Godwin Ako Gunn, Deputy National Communication Officer of the NDC.
