GFA parts ways with Otto Addo

Otto Addo calls for support ahead of Sudan’s game today

The Ghana Football Association has officially announced the departure of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, with the decision taking immediate effect.

In a statement released by the Association, the GFA expressed its appreciation to Otto Addo for his service and contribution to the senior men’s national team, the Black Stars. The Association also extended its best wishes to the coach in his future endeavours.

“The Association wishes to thank Otto Addo sincerely for his contribution to the team and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavours,” the statement read.

The GFA further indicated that plans are underway regarding the future of the team’s technical leadership. It assured the public that a new direction for the Black Stars will be communicated in due course.

The development marks a significant moment for Ghana football, as attention now turns to who will take over the reins and lead the team forward.
