Samuel Aborbi demands Education Minister’s resignation over LGBTQ content in curriculum

“NPP Should Be Grateful for Mahama’s Tolerance – Aborbi”

Samuel Aborbi, an NDC communicator for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, has accused the Ministry of Education of violating Ghana’s financial laws by using public funds to print books containing LGBTQ-related information for the school curriculum.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, Aborbi alleged that state resources were used to produce and distribute the materials through the Ghana Education Service (GES), describing the action as unlawful and unacceptable.

“Using our money to print books that contain information about LGBTQ in the curriculum is a violation of financial laws against the state,” he said.

Aborbi called for the immediate formation of a committee to investigate the Minister of Education, insisting that the Minister should resign without resistance for permitting the GES to imprint such content into educational materials.

“There must be accountability. The Minister of Education should step aside for allowing the GES to include such information in the curriculum,” he added.
