Tribalism, if left unchecked, can tear relationships apart, Prophet Isaac Asante has warned

Tribalism, if left unchecked, can tear relationships apart, Prophet Isaac Asante has warned
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Speaking on the Nyansapo fie show on Plan B 104.5 FM, the prophet urged the public to stop associating individual behavior with tribal identity. He stressed that people differ in character regardless of where they come from, and judging them through tribal stereotypes only fuels misunderstanding and division.

Prophet Asante also advised against forming opinions based on appearances or hearsay, noting that such assumptions can damage a person’s reputation, destroy aspirations, or even backfire on the one making the judgment.

“Even someone from your own tribe can be your enemy,” he remarked, emphasizing that character not tribe should determine how people relate to one another.
He concluded by calling for an end to stereotypes that label entire tribes based on the actions of a few.
