Klenam Wornu calls on religious bodies to unite against LGBTQ practices

NDC’s Klenam Wornu urges consideration for party supporters in security recruitment

Klenam Wornu, an NDC communicator for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, has called on all three major religious bodies in Ghana to unite and take a firm stand against LGBTQ activities, particularly within the country’s schools.

Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, he emphasized that now that President Mahama has declared his readiness to assent to the Anti-LGBTQ Bill once Parliament passes it, this is the moment for religious leaders and stakeholders to intensify pressure on lawmakers to ensure the bill is passed without delay.

According to him, protecting the moral and cultural fabric of the country requires collective effort, and religious institutions must play a leading role in advocating for the swift passage of the bill.
