Rev. Micheal Yao Banson explains why people shift blame

“Hasty Decisions Rarely End Well” – Rehoboth Pastor Warns
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Renowned pastor, Rev. Yao Banson, has shed light on why some individuals find it difficult to take responsibility for their actions. Speaking on the Nyansapofie Show on Plan B 104.5 FM, Rev. Banson explained that blame-shifting often occurs as a defensive mechanism when people anticipate that something is about to go wrong.

According to him, some individuals are aware of their impending mistakes and, out of fear of being held accountable, attempt to divert blame onto others. He further noted that for many, this behavior stems from a mental and emotional struggle to accept personal faults.

Rev. Banson emphasized the importance of self-awareness and honesty, urging people to be bold enough to admit their wrongs rather than protect their egos through blame-shifting.
