Lady Marilyn Abeka-Daniels, an adjunct lecturer at the University of Media, Arts and Communication’s Institute of Journalism (UNIMAC-IJ), has challenged individuals to use boredom as a nudge to realign their priorities and move ahead in life.
In an interview with hostess Nana Asabea on the Nyansapɔ Fie programme, she said the positive part of boredom is to reveal one’s hidden purpose and therefore one must see it as a means to reboot and not doom.
“Boredom can be a catalyst for growth, so individuals should reassess their priorities and discover their true purpose. By embracing boredom as an opportunity to reboot, rather than viewing it as a negative experience, individuals can unlock new possibilities and move forward in life.”
This insightful approach encourages people to reframe their mindset and find meaning in moments of boredom.
