The death is announced in Accra of veteran journalist, Mr Ebo Quansah. Mr Quansah who, until his death, was the General Manager of The Chronicle died at the Ridge Hospital yesterday, where he was receiving medical treatment.

According to the family, he fell seriously sick on Saturday, June 21, 2025 and was rushed to the medical facility. He, however, gave up the ghost on Thursday morning.

Though the late prolific writer, who edited The Chronicle for a number of years, before being promoted to the position of General Manager, has since the beginning of the year not been well, he was communicating with the staff almost on daily basis. His death, therefore, came as a surprise to the staff members of the paper.

The Publisher, Nana Kofi Coomson, his wife, Diane Coomson and the management and staff of the Chronicle extend their sincerest condolences to the family.
