NPP Tells Mahama to Respect Term Limits

“People You Perceive to Be Corrupt Must Be Sent to Court, Not Social Media” – Richard Anning to AG
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Richard Yaw Aning, NPP Communication Team Member for Tema Central Constituency, has warned President John Dramani Mahama against seeking a third term in office, citing greed as a motivating factor.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nkɔsoɔnsɛm show hosted by Obidehyeɛ Kofi Sekyi, Aning stressed, “Respect Term Limits, No Greed,” urging the President to prioritise the country’s democratic principles and constitutional provisions.

Aning further claimed, “President Mahama has been successful in suspending the Chief Justice, which he will also do against the Electoral Commissioner, thereby leading to the prolongation of his term of office.”

Regarding the Vice President’s absence, Aning called on her family to raise questions, stating, “Ghanaians were delighted to see her become the first Vice President in the country’s history, and therefore, she is a national asset, and the country needs to know her whereabouts.”
