Government Allocates 24,200 Hectares of Irrigation Farms To Two Districts In Oti Region

May 5, 2018 - Paidha, Uganda - A local farmer seen farming his land in late afternoon..Agriculture provides more than 95% of the income for the villagers who live in the villages near the town of Paidha in northwestern Uganda near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. Out of all the Agriculture products coffee account for more than 60% of their total income, the current rate for coffee is 5000 Shillings (.30 USD) per kg while other products such as avocados and maze worth even less.
