Concubinage Not A Crime – Captain Jesus

Ghana needs Nkrumah-like leadership – Man of God
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The founder of the Captain Jesus Prayer House Ministry, Prophet Isaac Ofosuhene-Gyimah, popularly known as Captain Jesus, has stirred controversy with his assertion that concubinage is not inherently a crime. His stance contradicts widely held beliefs among Christians and many others around the world.

During an interview on Plan B FM’s Nkɔsoɔnsɛm show, hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi, Captain Jesus argued that rather than condemning concubinage, the nation should focus on educating young people about its implications and how to navigate such relationships responsibly. He described concubinage as a natural part of human experience.

“Education on concubinage should be promoted in schools and homes, incorporating counselling services to prevent social vices,” he emphasised.

Captain Jesus also cited a recent incident in Dormaa Ahenkuro, where a farmer allegedly ingested insecticide after claiming to hear a voice instructing him to do so. He linked the incident to heartbreak and spirituality, calling for mindset reform and a deeper understanding of human experiences.
