A Communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kpone-katamanso Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Samuel Aborbi popularly called ‘Aban’ has emphatically said that, Vice president and the Flagberear of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia should do something about the economy and stop dancing to King Paluta’s song.

Aborbi stated clearly that, the New Patriotic Party is going to opposition.

In a panel discussion on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Thursday, 14, November 2024, Aborbi expressed disappointment in the Chairman of the Economic Management Team (EMT), Dr. Bawumia on the hardship and financial difficulties Ghanaians are facing.

“President Akufo-Addo said in opposition that, there is money in the country but Ghanaians were hungry under the tenure of former president John Mahama. Now when Ghanaians ask the whereabout of the money, president Akufo-Addo’s answer was, money does not like noise” he stated.

Aborbi challenges the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to render account on E-Levy to Ghanaians.

“The exchange rate has exposed Dr. Bawumia because the fundamentals are weak under his watch as the head of the Economic Management Team” he noted.

“Ghanaians will not vote for lies but competency” he added.
