Financial analyst and economist Scott Bolshevikhas reacted to President Akufo-Addo’s statue honoring himself.

According to Scott Bolshevik, failed leaders often seek to be remembered through self-glorification and naming projects after themselves.

He wrote on X, “Failed leaders often seek to be remembered through self-glorification and naming projects after themselves, despite economic collapse. These symbols are often erased after their death, as true legacy lies in genuine service to the people Sadam Hussein, Jean-Bedel, Idi Amin …”
The statue of Akufo-Addo is located at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi and was during his one-day “thank you” tour of the Western Region on Wednesday, November 6.

The Western Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah explained that the statue honors the president’s initiatives in the region.

The rehabilitation of Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital, the construction of a 3-tier Sino hydro interchange, and the redevelopment of the Takoradi Market Circle. Meanwhile, the above-mentioned project remains incomplete.
