Presidents are supposed to be humble, not arrogant – Mahama Fires Back at Akufo-Addo for unveiling his own statue

The Akuffo Addo led Government Are Specialized In Abandoning Projects – John Mahama
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Former President John Dramani Mahama has fired President, Nana Akufo-Addo, for his decision to unveil a statue of himself outside the Effia-Nkwanta Government Hospital in Sekondi.

Speaking during a campaign rally, the former President said Presidents are supposed to be humble yet Akufo-Addo is simply arrogant.

He slammed the sitting President for feeling so pompous that he had a statue of himself erected and then went to unveil it.

Mahama said others have to appreciate a leader’s role and honor him and not for a leader to force adulations upon himself.

He also noted that Akufo-Addo went around begging Ghanaians to try him and see yet he has ended up putting Ghanaians in difficulty.
