Adabraka daylight robbery: IGP Dampare has run away from the public space – Richard Kumadoe claims

A security analyst Richard Kumadoe has boldly stated that the Inspector General of Police George Akuffo Dampare has run away from the public space.

According to Richard Kumadoe Ghanaians were expecting to hear from IGP Dampare after the Adabraka daylight robbery but he was nowhere to be found and noted that after the appointment of a Deputy IGP has disappeared from the public space.

Speaking to Onua FM, Richard Kumadoe said, “Dampare right now we don’t see him anymore, I don’t know if he has gone to a seminar or he is on vacation, we don’t see him”.

“The Adabraka armed robbery people were saying after 72 hours the robbers would go underground but we didn’t see him. When we went to Walewale we didn’t see Dampare because when Dampare came the three elections that he led there was peace, he added.

He further reiterated, “Walewale, we didn’t see him, ever since the appointment of a Deputy IGP in charge of operations we don’t see Dampare. Let the media find out where Dampare is and interview him, he has run away from the public space, and it is one of the problems that is fueling all these things happening in the Police”.

Meanwhile, the High Court in Accra presided over by Justice Richard Apietu has dismissed an application seeking to restrain Christian Tetteh Yohuno from holding himself as the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge.
