Mauplus Pharmacy in Tamale has appealed to the public for help in retrieving a laptop computer reportedly stolen by a man caught on the pharmacy’s CCTV cameras.

The suspect was observed moving stealthily through the storage area of the pharmacy, ultimately concealing the laptop in a backpack before swiftly exiting the premises.

The incident, recorded on November 5 between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., shows the suspect navigating around boxes of drugs in what appears to be the storage section of the pharmacy. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/12AWP5x3mzo/

In the footage, the individual is seen wearing black trousers, a blue shirt with white stripes, and carrying a black backpack. According to the pharmacy staff, it remains unclear how the man gained access to this restricted part of the store.

In response, the management of Mauplus Pharmacy promptly reported the theft to the police, hoping for swift action. Meanwhile, they have circulated the CCTV footage widely on social media platforms, encouraging members of the community to assist in identifying the suspect.

Mauplus Pharmacy managers have expressed concerns over the security breach and are calling on anyone with information to come forward and assist the police in locating the suspect and retrieving the stolen property.
