In the early hours of Tuesday, October 15, 2024, a Journalist and Documentary Film Maker, identified as Edem Srem Sai shared some drone photos from the Brim River at Anyinam sharing an update on the situation after deploying the military to the sites. According to Edem Srem Sai, the illegal miners in the community have gone back to mine in the waterbodies barely 48 hours after armed soldiers chased them away and burnt some Chanffans. During an interview with Kofi Siaw, an Eastern Regional Correspondent, he confirmed that the illegal miners have gone back to the Brim River to mine. “It is true.
