Angola have all but qualified to the 2025 AFCON that is set to be held in Morocco after picking up their third win in as many games.

The Palancas Negras beat Niger 2-0 in Luanda to maintain first place in Group F’s standings but stretch their lead over the rest of the field.

Angola is yet to drop a game after beating Ghana 1-0 in Kumasi and beating Sudan 2-1 and Niger both at home to score nine maximum points with three games left to play.

Captain Mabululu converted from the penalty spot in the 75th minute to put Angola ahead before forward Milson added the second in the 85th minute to seal the tie. Milson scored the winner against Ghana in September.

Angola is one of three nations with maximum points following the completion of games in the first half of the qualifiers. Cote D’Ivoire and Egypt also have three wins from three games.
