The parliamentary candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Tema West Constituency, Lawyer James Enu has filed his nomination.
In an interview with the Media in a press conference after filing his nomination on Tuesday, 10 September 2024 at the party’s office in Sakumono, James Enu highlighted his commitment to changing the destiny of Tema West Constituency.
He promised to prioritize the construction of Agyei-Kojo road, which he believes will facilitate economic growth and improve the living standards of the people in the Constituency.
Lawyer Enu also unveiled his plans to teamed up with the next NDC government to review the tariffs and taxes at Tema harbour to make business attractive.
James Enu expressed confidence in flipping the Tema West seat from the NPP in the upcoming parliamentary election.
“I am committed to changing the destiny of Tema West Constituency. I believe that with the right leadership and competency, we can transform our constituency into a thriving economic hub. The next NDC government will help revamp Tema Oil Refinery (TOR)” he noted.
The NDC parliamentary candidate is expected to face stiff competition from the ruling party’s candidate in the upcoming election.
However, James Enu is confident that his message of hope and transformation will resonate with the people of Tema West Constituency.
“I am not just a politician, I am a servant of the people. I will work tirelessly to ensure that the needs of our people are met, and that our constituency becomes a model for development in Ghana” he indicated.
