Ashaiman: Parents urged to embrace artificial intelligence

The Director of Celestial International Stem School at Ashiaman in the Greater Accra Region Mr. Harry Amago has urged parents to embrace the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) since is inevitable.

According to him parents must take full responsibility of AI tool since it enable us to provide tailored education to individual needs, making learning more engaging and effective.

Speaking at the 23rd Graduation of the school on the theme: “The use of Artificial Intelligence in today’s Educational Ecosystem”  he noted that AI tool has its advantages and disadvantages. However, is important parents guide their children to the positive side.

He called on parents to spend ample time with their kids so they do not get lured to the negative aspect of AI.

He further called on parents to expect nothing but the best from the school as their aim is to achieve excellence.

The Ashiaman Municipal Education Director, Mr. Clifford Henaku Badu,
who was the Guest speaker of the event in his address said education in the Municipality has been transformed over the years because schools in Ashiaman Municipality are performing well in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
He also said AI is effective and its making an impact, since AI is helping Education to another level
.
He further said the AI tool adjust Educational cost, virtual tutors, enhance students understanding, content creation, Data analysis and accessible.

He asked parents to support the children to take up their place in the new world of technology.

Mr. Badu also called on both Parents and teachers to help their children cultivate the habit of reading.
