Ambulance Saga: Attorney General must stop the personal crusade and act professionally – Movement For Change

A member of the Communication team of Movement for Change for Tema, Mr. Felix Kwasi Annan has urged the Attorney General, Mr. Godfred Yeboah Dame to stop crusade and focus on his job professionally.

In a panel discussion on Plan B Fm’s ‘Nkosuonsem’ show hosted by Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Mr. Felix appealed to the Minority Leader of Parliament who is the first accused person in the Ambulance Trial, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson not to counter-suit Ghana for the unprofessional work done by the Attorney General.

This comes after the Court of Appeal in a 2:1 decision overturned the trial court’s directive for Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson to present his defence in the ongoing ambulance trial and upheld his appeal of no case.

Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson was acquitted and discharged in the ambulance case by the Court of Appeal on Tuesday, July 30.

The office of the Attorney General considers the decision of the Court of Appeal grossly unfair to the nation and inimical to the fight against immunity and abuse.

“Mr. Felix Kwasi Annan urged the Attorney General to act professionally and stop the personal crusade” he noted.
