Ghana is retrogressing due to corrupt and bad leadership – Movement for Change

Reports indicate that the Majority Leader in Parliament, Hon. Alexander Afenyo- Markin has been tipped to take over from Herbert Krapa as the Board Chairman of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

Some aggrieved workers of ECG are up in arms against the report that the Majority Leader is expected to take over as Board Chairman of Electricity Company of Ghana.

Reacting to this on Plan B Fm’s ‘Ebaanosen’ hosted by Ohene Kinnah on Friday July 11 2024, a National Communications member of Movement for Change, Mr. John Kofi Adusei Opoku stated clearly that, ECG wants a Board Chairman who has time to focus on his job as Board Chairman and not someone who is having too many positions so he would not have time to do his work as Board Chairman.

“Ghana is retrogressing due to corrupt and bad leadership. State Institutions giving to political figures to manage doesn’t go well” he said.

“Allowing political figures to have upper hands on state’s institutions has made them arrogance which that behavior must stop” he added.
