Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has extended his stay at AFC Bournemouth after signing a contract extension with the Cherries.
The Ghana international inked a five-year deal that will keep him at the Vitality Park until the summer of 2029.
Having joined the Premier League outfit in January 2023, the former Bristol City attacker played a huge role in the club’s campaign last season, as Bournemouth recorded their best points tally last season.
Semenyo scored eight goals and provided two assists in 33 matches in the 2024/25 campaign.
“It has been clear for all to see the rate of Antoine’s development since joining 18 months ago. He has gone from strength to strength, and enjoyed an incredible first full season with us,” said AFC Bournemouth Chief Executive Neil Blake.
“Agreeing on a new long-term contract was important for us to recognise his contribution as a key member of our squad, and we’re excited to see this continue for years to come.”
Semenyo’s brace against Luton Town in March helped the club comeback from a three-goal deficit to secure an important win.
He also won Bournemouth’s Player of the Month in November last year.
