Armed robbers kill Police officer in Kumasi

The Police have announced that one of its officers has been killed in a robbery incident that occurred at Ahodwo, Nhyiaseo in Kumasi in the early hours of Thursday, June 27.

The Police say they have arrested one person for the robbery incident which occurred at about 1am on 27th June 2024.

An intelligence operation is underway to get the remaining suspects arrested to face justice, a statement issued by the Police said.

“The Ghana Police Service has arrested one person for robbery which occurred at about 1am on 27th June 2024, at Ahodwo, Nhyiaeso, in the Ashanti Region, resulting in the death of a Police officer.

“An intelligence operation is underway to get the remaining suspects arrested to face justice,” the Police said.
