A political analyst Mr. Samuel Boateng has stated that the Vice president and the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party NPP Dr. Bawumia can never be left out when talking about Ghana’s economic mess but he should be allowed to outline his vision and mission to Ghanaians if they would grant him the nod in 2024.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s morning show NKOSUONSEM hosted by Obidehye Kofi Sekyi, Mr. Boateng explained that, Dr. Bawumia has been the head of the economic management team for almost eight years and President Akufo Addo specifically told the entire country that, he brought him (Dr. Bawumia) purposely to manage the economy and stabilize it.

“Dr. Bawumia should have resigned as vice president long ago because what he said won’t be taxed has been taxed (E-levy) and the current economic state,” he said.

He continued that, Dr. Bawumia could not run away from the current economic predicaments the nation was facing because he was part of the most important people in the country, so he should embrace the failures of the economy and come out with options that could turn things around for good to ease the pressure on citizens and businesses.
