Black Stars Head Coach, Chris Hughton has responded to the several criticisms confronting him as the Head Coach of the national team following the disastrous outing against the USA & Mexico in the October international friendlies.
Hughton answered a question posed to him whether he is under pressure to deliver results for the country and the widespread reports of being sacked some days ago by the Ghana Football Association.
The Black Stars are gearing up for their first group game in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Barea of Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Hughton faced the press ahead of the game which kicks off tomorrow at 4 pm in Kumasi.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion Head Coach stated that his focus lies with the game and nothing else.
“My responsibilities are always to get the correct results I need for this team, for the association, for the country and for our supporters.”
“It is the same for every game, the first game, the second game, the third game, nothing changes, my responsibility is to get good results, that’s all.
