E/R: Sleeping Baby Stolen After Mother Left Her To Buy Diapers

A week old baby has allegedly been stolen at Nana Boame a community near teacher Mantey in Ayensuano District in Eastern region.

According to the parents of the victims -Kwame Amegbetsi and Portia Kemevor the incident occured on Monday June 5, 2023.

According the mother ,she left the baby who was sleeping around 5:00pm in the room and rushed out to buy diapers only to return within six minutes to the shock of her life that the baby was no where to be found.

The father Kwame Amegagbetsi who was then in a farm rushed back home upon hearing the incident.

Teacher Mantey police were informed and officially lodged complaints.

Search continued throughout the night and subsequent days but to no avail.

The parents are traumatized and counting on the Ghana Police Service to find the baby alive for them.
