CPP condemns treasonable comments by NPP and NDC

The national organizer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Mr. Yitimanbo Moses Ambin has hit hard on the New Patriotic Party NPP and Opposition National Democratic Congress NDC on the recent treasonable comments made by some members of these two political parties as something we should all condemn.

Speaking on Plan B FM morning show NKOSUONSEM on 11th April 2023, the organizer stated that

“it is unfortunate to hear such a comment from a member of parliament who suppose to know better and before you say this, then you have done what is expected of you, living conditions in the country has become so poor that people can’t afford three square meal, unemployment is very high and a lot of hardship all over and you are here making delegatory comments, Enough is enough” he fumed.

Furthering his comment Mr. Yitimanbo Moses Ambin said, the CPP will not support any treasonable comments from the NPP and NDC that can ruin the peace we are all enjoying in the country because of their selfish gains,

“looking at the comments made by these two political parties recently is a clear indication that these two parties NPP and NDC has nothing good for the country and this is the time for Ghanaians to vote for the CPP coming 2024 to continue the good legacies of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah”, he added.

Mr. Acheampong addressing party supporters at Mpraeso on Saturday said the ruling New Patriotic Party will never hand over power to the opposition NDC in 2025.

“NDC party will collapse. If the NDC dares to use threats, violence, and foolishness in the 2024 election, we will let them know we have the men. We will show them that we have the men. We have the men![He screamed to emphasize]. It will never happen that we, the NPP, will stand on a platform to hand over power to the NDC. It will never happen! We will make sure NPP remains in government at all costs”.

The comments by the Abetifi MP have been condemned by the Minority and the NDC with the opposition party calling for the arrest and prosecution of the MP.

Meanwhile, some NPP members are saying that If anybody has to be arrested by the Police for treasonable comments, then certainly it is John Dramani Mahama for his continuous ‘Do or die for the NDC ‘about the 2024 general elections, and Johnson Asidedu Nketia for his brazen proclamation that members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are willing to sacrifice their lives to win the 2024 elections, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Justin Frimpong Kodua (NPP) has said.
