GHS Confirms Outbreak Of Hanz Virus

The National Health Students Association of Ghana has given government a 24-hour ultimatum to pay their allowances which have been in arrears for 8 months.

.President of the association, Daniel Onomah Asamoah says they would hit the streets if government and the Finance Ministry fails to pay the allowances due them.

.“Currently the Ministry of Finance has to be involved because if the Ministry of Finance has not issued our clearance, the Ministry of Health has little to do.

When you go, it will be the same old story that they are waiting for the Finance Ministry to issue clearance before they will proceed.

We had some engagements with the Ministry of Health, we submitted the petition last October.

There’s that assurance that they are working on it

We sent a letter with an ultimatum for them to respond to us, so we are waiting for them to respond within that time frame, if not we will take the next action,” President of the National Health Students Association of Ghana said.
