Private equity investor, Quick Angels Limited, has awarded ten startups with a whopping ¢25,000 each to augment their business operations.
Over 1,000 entrepreneurs applied for support to expand their businesses in which ten startups emerged successful.
The indigenous company has injected over GH¢90 million into the revamping of companies across various sectors of the economy nationwide.
The kind gesture was done to mark the 38th birthday of the CEO of Quick Angels Limited, Mr. Richard Nii Armah Quaye, who also doubles as the the managing director of
Quick Credit and Investment Microcredit Limited.
Mr. Richard Nii Armah Quaye said over millions of dollars and cedis have been invested by his companies to help indigenous Ghanaian companies to grow.
“As part of activities to mark my 38th birthday, we decided to provide some limited funding to young amazing entrepreneurs and this is for free. Thousands of Ghanaians put in their business proposal and we invest millions of dollars in their businesses and also been able to build great brands nationwide”. He said
He further indicated that, the support will give the startups the opportunity to demonstrate that they also have the ability to take much resources from the company.
Mr. Nii also stated that over the last decade, Quick Credit & Investment Micro-Credit had lived its mission of supporting small businesses to grow through loan support or with the loan scheme service.
He disclosed that the company had disbursed loans to more than 80,000 Ghanaians while employing more than 1,000 Ghanaians.
