Pep Guardiola’s side thought they had been awarded a penalty of their own in the 57th minute, but VAR ruled that Erling Haalandwas offside prior to being fouled by Gabriel Magalhaes.
Fifteen minutes later though, Jack Grealishgave the visitors the lead for good. Haaland added City’s third 10 minutes after that to put the game out of reach.
Arsenal fall out of first place for the first time since August, now having failed to win three straight league matches.
