Resign in your own interest – Ablakwa hints Kusi Boateng of more exposés

Okudzeto Ablakwa’s Nine-step Approach To Raise GHS6.9bn Without E-levy

Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has recommended that Rev Victor Kusi Boateng, Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, must be made to resign in his own interest, warning that he has additional scandalous information on him.

Mr Ablakwa said this while commending the Board of Trustees for agreeing to a statutory audit by Deloitte, giving indication to cooperate with the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ),and requesting a parliamentary probe into the construction of the cathedral.

“The power of the people has triggered quite some positive actions from the National Cathedral Board of Trustees;

It’s obvious the suspended project will remain suspended until independent audits and various probes are concluded;

Glad they will fully cooperate with the CHRAJ investigations following my petition;

The Deloitte audit must be made public when completed…

Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng AKA Kwabena Adu Gyamfi must be made to resign from the Board of Trustees without further delay—this would be in his own interest, particularly, having regard for the additional exposés in the pipeline;

The Board of Trustees’ request for a parliamentary probe is most welcome, and I do hope Right Honourable Speaker Bagbin would approve our motion demanding an enquiry into the entire scandal-dominated cathedral project as submitted to his office last year…,” Mr Ablakwa wrote.

Mr Ablakwa has accused Rev Kusi Boateng of corruption, fraud, double identity and self-dealing. He put out some documents as evidence for his accusations.

Rev Kusi Boateng in response said that the accusations are part of the hurdles he has to cross as one who is rising and engaged in worthwhile activities.
