Here is What Transpired When Ghana’s Ambassador Meets Burkina Faso Gov’t Officials Over Akufo-Addo’s Allegation

Here is What Transpired When Ghana’s Ambassador Meets Burkina Faso Gov’t Officials Over Akufo-Addo’s Allegation

The comment made by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was not meant to be a condemnation of Ouagadougou, according to Boniface Gambila Adagbila, Ghana’s ambassador to Burkina Faso.

He claimed that the president of Ghana just aimed to raise awareness among assistance organizations about the terrorist actions taking place in Burkina Faso.

Following his summons, Karamoko Jean Marie Traore, the Burkina Faso Minister Delegate in charge of Regional Cooperation, required an explanation from Ambassador Gambila.

Following President Akufo-worries Addo’s over the existence of Russian mercenaries in southern Burkina Faso, on Ghana’s northern border, the call on Friday was issued.

He said that the Wagner party of mercenaries had received a mine as payment.

The remarks, however, were “conditional,” according to Ambassador Gambila.

Minister Traore responded to the justifications by stating that Ghana might have conferred with Burkinabe authorities on the matter to obtain accurate facts before to going public.

As a lead-up to this United States of America summit, he remarked, “it would have been more interesting to initiate a discourse between participating and non-participating African countries.”

Both sides decided to tighten their ties of kinship and solidarity.
