Stop The Lavish lifestyle And Get Sympathy From Your People – Dr. Adu Sarkodie To Gov’t

Dr Adu Owusu Sarkodie an Economist and a Lecturer at the Department of Economics at the University of Ghana has asked the government to cut down its expenditures and stop the lavish Lifestyle of government officials to get the sympathy of Ghanaians to pay more taxes for development but if the citizens realise that their taxes are being used to hire private jets and also seeing long presidential convoy amid the hardship it will be difficult for Ghanaians to sympathise with the government.
Dr Adu Sarkodie reveal this on Plan B FM morning show NKOSUONSEM when speaking to Ohene Addo on the mid-year budget review read by the finance minister last Monday in Parliament.
The Economist suggested that government should reintroduce the told booth Levy electronically to ease traffic for commuters and also  to secure a certain amount of revenue for the government, if you go to some African countries like South Africa, Egypt, Togo and Kenya that is how things are working there” if the government wants to learn this properly they should come to Legon and learn how it is done for proper accountability” he added
About the high inflation rate on food items, Dr Adu Sarkodie expressed his disappointment on planting for food and job initiative, ” how can you implement such policy for six years and your people are complaining about food it is shameful he stressed.
