Former Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea, has expressed disappointment about the failure of his party to address the many challenges it promised to solve if it comes to power.

He said that he always feels embarrassed whenever an audio-visual of himself, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia or President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is played back to show some of the promises made that have not been fulfilled.

Nana Akomea indicated that even though he feels embarrassed, persons who were appointed to lead the various sectors of Ghana’s economy should be held accountable for the failure of the NPP to fulfil the promises it made to Ghanaians.

In Authority of this Ohene Addo of Plan B Fm had an eloquent interview with Mr. Samuel Boateng, a political analyst on Ebaanosen, and here is what he had to say about Nana Akomea’s comment.

He said that Ghana needs more of people like Nana Akomea, who will not always cloud their speeches with their political interest, he said the people of Ghana are suffering because most leaders in Ghana are more about their political party’s interest and not the interest of the people they are leading.

He also said that Nana Akomea couldn’t have said it better than how he did and God bless him for calling his people out to do the right thing to help save Ghana’s economy.

He concluded that most leaders should pick up this attitude and it help the system.
