The former general secretary for the Christian Council, Rev. Opuni Frimpong has reacted to the issues of the National Cathedral.
In an interview on Okay FM this morning, the man of God revealed that Christians in Ghana should come together and build the National Cathedral. He added that Christians in the country can easily build the National Cathedral if they all work together and contribute something for the project.
He however made it clear that he does not support any action of the government to use the taxes of Ghanaians to build the Cathedral. He explained this and revealed that building a Cathedral should be a religious project because if President Akuffo uses the taxes of Ghanaians to build the Cathedral, it will cause a lot of problems in the country. He added that when the country gets a Muslim or a traditionalist as the president, he or she may also decide to use the taxes of Ghanaians to build a Mosque or a Shrine. With this, according to Rev. Frimpong Opuni will not help at all.
